5 Reasons We're Able to Serve You Best
1. We’re a small, responsive, and accountable team, consisting of one attorney (me, Rob) and a couple of paralegals. Unlike at larger firms, there’s no gatekeeping, shifting responsibility to someone else, or completely handing your case off to a junior attorney. We love our work and want to work with you. You’ll always know who’s on the case and where it stands.
2. You benefit from my experience at a larger firm with a volume of cases and clients. At a larger firm, I gained valuable experience in helping injured clients, but I also saw firsthand the limitations that can come with a practice that has a large volume of cases and clients. I realized I could serve injury victims at a higher level, by providing more focused, strategic, and responsive representation. With bigger firms, for instance, critical evidence from the scene of an accident is not always secured quickly and key details can be overlooked. Or the larger firm might fail to obtain all of the necessary evidence needed to prevail at trial. I’ve built my practice to be different, prioritizing speed, precision, and thorough investigation from day one. The other party’s counsel is likely to be large and slow, in which case I know where our speed works to your advantage. Just as importantly, many of those larger firms are not evaluating cases with a possible trial in mind from the very beginning, which can be a costly mistake for their clients.
3. I have experience in handling complex cases, often resulting from unusual injuries or an unusual situation that led to those injuries. That’s for a few reasons, but the major one is that I simply pay more attention than most injury attorneys do. Most attorneys have the attention span of a fruit fly, mainly because they take on too many cases and don’t want to invest any time into your case before you’ve signed on the dotted line. They’d rather ask questions and get details later. Over the years I’ve learned that more information early means better results later, so I’d rather start with hearing everything you want to share. With me, you won’t feel as though you need to hold back or edit yourself. If it’s a “long story,” I’m here for it. My questions, attention to detail, and interest in your story allow me to dig deeper into your unique situation, truly understand your case, and map out our path to success.
4. We’ve got at least one major experience in common: a seriously injured loved one. My mother suffered a brain injury because of a drunk driver. That’s why I became a personal injury attorney in the first place. I know the sudden effects an accident can have on the injured party, as well as on his or her family. You and I both know what’s riding on the choices we make on the road to justice.
5. I can travel to you – and soon. Many injury attorneys also travel, at least in theory, but the difference is I’m constantly flying back and forth between Boston (my native soil) and Atlanta (my wife’s native soil). My schedule is not diluted by frequently going on vacation (like some attorneys edging closer to retirement), or taking a break to hit the links at Pebble Beach. So we can meet in-person on the sooner side, and not 4 months from now. Of course, we’ll start working on your case even sooner than that, as soon as you’ve contacted my office and we’ve scheduled a free consultation.
